Who We AreNeeded Respite Care is an in-home Respite Care Agency that works with children, teens, and adults on the Autism spectrum and other related developmental disabilities. Our services are designed to help parents or caregivers caring for someone with a disability to take a much needed break from their everyday challenging routine, providing parents and families temporary relief to relax, to run errands, work, etc., while keeping their child engaged in safe, fun, and functional activities in their home.
Our founder and Executive Director uses a person-centered approach with all of the families. It is an individualistic approach, understanding that every family is different and has different needs. The Executive Director has his Masters Degree in Rehabilitation Counseling and has worked with children and adults with special needs for over 20 years.He oversees the needs of our staff as well as running the daily operations of the program.
Service area
Many of our clients come to us from the North Los Angeles County Regional Center and Frank D. Lanterman Regional Center. We are vendored with both regional centers by the state’s Department of Developmental Service (DDS) to provide Respite Services and Personal Assistance.
